ESR Level 1 Squash Coaching Award

ESR SW is pleased to be holding a Level 1 Course in Exeter next month. This is the only scheduled Level 1 course in the SW this season.

Date: 13th & 14th October 2012

Venue: Devon & Exeter SRC

This is a new 2 day course designed to provide learners with the required ‘How to Coach’ and ‘What to Coach’ skills to deliver group coaching sessions to a variety of different participants. The course also provides information on how to support, enhance and develop players, clubs and facilities.

The course is made up of the following components: -
• Mini Squash and how to deliver Squash within a Primary & Secondary School environment
• Coaching different participants within a club/leisure centre setting
• An Introduction to Racketball and how to organise informal play sessions
• Creating effective communities

The course will be delivered on 2 consecutive days.

All candidates must be at least 16 years of age and will need to have an ESR CRB Enhanced Disclosure and have taken a Safeguarding & Protecting Children Workshop (also available online).
